Issues, Challenges and Suggestions in Respect to Higher Education in India
India's tertiary education system is the third largest student system in the world, behind China and the United States. Unlike China, however, India has the advantage that English is the main language of higher education and research. India educates about 11% of young people in higher education compared to 20% in China. The Provincial Institution of Higher Education is an award committee of universities (India) that applies the standards, advises governments and coordinates coordination between centers. Universities and colleges are institutions of higher education in India. Currently, there are 227 universities recognized by the government in 2011. 20 of them are Chung Ang University, 109 are considered universities, 11 are open universities and the rest are state universities.
